Ordered a 790XT-UD4P and 2x2gb Corsair 1600 7-8-7-20s last night. Trying to find the X2 555, but doesnt seem to be out yet. Provantage has them for about $120 shipped, but expected ship date is 4-8 days.

Anyway, hopeing for good results. Probably going to have my corsair H50 on this, unless I can find a way to fit the CM Hyper 212+ on it and fit in the shelf under my tv. Which ever doesnt go on this goes on the i7 till I get another loop.

No, my HTPC. The i7 will be my gamer. That way I have the choise of SLI or Xfire.

Trying to find a way to figure out what cooling method I can fit in my case. The Corsair H50 wont fit, and the Hyper 212+ is about 1cm too tall. The stock AMD 955 HSF is pretty decent, so if it can cool it well, Ill use that I think.

Sunbeam UFO. Problem is its in a shelf under my tv thats 13x13 HxW. The Hyper 212+ sticks about an incher or more over the top of the case (with the top off, top wont fit at all).

Id use the Corsair H50 on it, but the fan mounts are not high enough, so it would be in the way of the board mounting.

Saw it handle a QX9650 at 3.9 with 1.5v in a review, so Im sure itll handle a little ol' AMD lol.

Got everything except the X2 555, since they are still no where to be found. Using the X2 250 right now, and the cooler works great on it. Ram is giving me trouble though. Tried 1.65V, +.05VTT, stock CPU settings, and 7-8-7-20 timings for 1600Mhz and it was a no go. Got everything stock except ram at 1333 8-8-8-24 1.65v just to make sure it works. The ram was doing fine past 1600 in my i7. Guess Ill be looking at low speeds and hopefully tight timings for AMD.

No matter what I do, it doesnt unlock. It is stable at 4Ghz with the GeminII S though, 1.4V so far.
