ran my E8600 today on my pahse i got from Drew. Things went pretty well so far. Hitting 5430 at 1.78 vcore. there will be more no doubt. this was my first try at phase and i managed to beat my last overclock of 5250 by a fairly gd margin afaik.

Not a bad pi score as well.

Both were submitted to the bot. All tests i run from now on will go to the bot if applicable. So expect some movement. probably not at this week as my scheduled is so fuking out of wack with all the rain we've had and i have a 3 day Golfing tournament this weekend. But after that its all Bot no playing around.

Just noticed the ram speed and timings, is that correct? Need to loosen up to like 15-5-5-5 and pump out some more frequency. 1:1 would be pretty sick.

Yea that would be sweet. I'll have to work on that. I worked the cpu a little more and managed to get it up to 5450mhz but now the board is tapped out. I'm at 1.8vcore and its all she has left. Makes me wish i used this board in my 24/7 setup instead of the FTW board. The FTW board can put out some better vcore. No change in pi score.

Duke!

I'm really glad to see that your DD unit from Drew worked out, and that you're able to bench this high already Wink. I can't comment on details, times, or your memory divider since I'm visiting from dial-up, but I should be able to within a couple days. 1.8v sounds just about right for the temps that I expect you'd be getting anyways; but could you let us know temps just to double check?

I'd "guess" that 1.8v is good for the sort of temps that you're getting, as long as you don't bench TOO much at those voltages. 1.85 or maybe even 1.9v is totally doable for some QUICK CPU benchies.

Can't wait to see your scores  Smiley

Good luck man,
Eli
